ULTRAKRAFT became the winner of the federal stage of the competition "100 best goods of Russia" confirming its consistent policy of product's quality once again.

Automated NDT-equipment for plates ULTRAPLATE "ULTRA-PE75P.002" was rigorously examined by experienced specialists. ULTRAPLATE is an unique system included the most advanced technologies and innovations of non-destructive testing, namely: mechanics, automatics, electronics and computing systems. The equipment is an absolute robot being able to make a full test cycle of plate without an operator at high speed and in a wide temperature range. The equipment is protected with several patents and is certified as a type of measuring equipment.

Equipment successfully passed qualification tests of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for conformance to DNV 101 and is approved for ultrasonic testing of plates with temperature of up to 720 deg. C used for offshore pipelines.

Certification of UTE ULTRAPLATE (Ultra -PE75P.002) was successfully finished according to the standard of DNV.

Qualification according to the standard of DNV included different trials confirming the ability of equipment to realize the ultrasonic testing of plates according to the standard mentioned in the requirements for the equipment supply for such projects as the "South Stream". The trials were carried out at the production basis of ULTRAKRAFT (Cherepovets) and at LPC-3 of Cherepovets Steel Mill (Kolpino).

The First International Conference "Scientific and technological progress in the steel industry" took place in Cherepovets, in the business center Torovo on October 2-4, 2013.

ULTRAKRAFT presented an innovative testing technology for detecting of internal and surface flaws of slabs at temperatures up to 1200 C.

ULTRAKRAFT together with MARVI successfully put into operation the equipment for automated measurement of the geometry of the bid diameter pipes using 2D-laser triangulation scanners at Vyksa Steel Works OAO.
